Steps away from our hotel room in Gold Beach...

Lil here. I'm afraid the whole 'blogging from the road' idea didn't work out too well. Spotty wifi, typing on a tablet and exhausting days kept me from updating. Not to mention; when you have beauty like this to look at, staring at a screen loses its appeal.

Since I'm such a delicate flower (stop snickering Ruby!) it's taken me a while to recover and reconnect with my furry little family (I include my hubby in that classification). I'm now sorting through about a thousand photographs and will post again as soon as possible.

Lil and Ruby Hit the Road - Day Two Continued

Long days and spotty wifi has left Lil a bit behind in her blogging duties.

After circling around and through Tillamook a couple of times we found the Blue Heron Cheese Company We had some lovely chunks of brie and a sampling of wines (ok, Ruby sampled wines and Lil pulled faces and went to look at candy...)

While the inside was full of wonderful wares, outside was where the action happened. First of all, Lil forced Ruby to pose as a cow:

But the best part was the petting zoo. These two darlings were great models:

We covered many miles today and we are beat! We stopped at the first beach we encountered so we could dip our toes in the ocean.
